How it works
TicketSift is a ticket price comparisonservice. We don't sell tickets, hold inventory or process payments. We show you where the same event is on sale across the major ticket marketplaces so you can choose the cheapest legitimate option.
1. We gather the options
For each event we look across three kinds of sellers:
- Official primary sellers(e.g. Ticketmaster) — face-value tickets, when the event hasn't sold out.
- Fan-to-fan resale (e.g. Twickets, TicketSwap) — tickets from real fans, capped at or near face value. Usually the cheapest way into a sold-out show.
- Resale exchanges (e.g. viagogo, StubHub, Gigsberg) — the widest availability, with prices set by sellers. Sometimes below face value, sometimes far above.
2. We're honest about fees
The advertised price is rarely what you pay. Most marketplaces add service, booking and delivery fees at checkout — often 15–30% on top. Next to every option we tell you roughly what to expect, so a "cheap" ticket that turns expensive at checkout doesn't catch you out.
3. You buy on the marketplace, not from us
When you click through, you land on the marketplace's own page and buy directly from them, covered by their buyer guarantee and customer service. Your payment details never touch TicketSift.
Staying safe when buying resale
- Prefer face-value fan resale (Twickets, TicketSwap) when it's available.
- Always buy through a marketplace with a buyer guarantee — never via bank transfer to a stranger on social media.
- Check the total at checkout against the face value shown on our event page.
- Beware of tickets for events that haven't announced seat details yet being sold as specific seats.
